ANDREW ALLISON  |   Secretary

Andrew is an architect specializing in the design and architecture of mass transit facilities, with a particular interest in how these facilities can positively impact their urban and suburban locations. He has been a Glendale resident since 2008, and lives in the 1963 Peterka House (No. 112 on the Glendale Register of Historic Resources) in the Adams Hill area of South Glendale.  His Mid-century Modern house was featured in TGHS’s 2015 “Mad for Modern” Home Tour. He is especially interested in the preservation of buildings from this era, along with the challenges associated with these efforts.

Andrew is excited to live in his eclectic Adams Hill community; he hopes to encourage the establishment of more historic districts in the area, and is working on a walking tour of notable Mid-century Modern homes in his neighborhood.  He currently serves on the Preservation Advocacy Committee.
