“Discovering Glendale’s Doctors House”

Russell Harnden III’s documentary “Discovering Glendale’s Doctors House,” starring Doctors House Museum curator and tour guide Peter Rusch.

Produced in collaboration with Glendale TV, the documentary tells the story of how this Victorian beauty was saved from destruction, cut in half, moved in the middle of the night, and reassembled by volunteers, thus launching The Glendale Historical Society.

Behind-the-Scenes

This is a "behind-the-scenes" look at the recent production shoot of the long-anticipated Doctors House Tour Documentary (a working title). Filming took place at “the house that started it all” during the first weekend in June, 2021. Doctors House Curator Peter Rusch will host the program and will do what he does best – give the viewer an intimate and close-up look at the house, the families that resided there, and the impact that the house adds to Glendale’s rich history.
