He was Principal of the California Gold Ribbon School Hendrick Ranch Elementary for 15 years. Robert retired in 2014 and moved to Glendale, where he wasted no time in becoming active in the community. He has also been extremely active with TGHS, earning him the 2018 Volunteer Award. For the last three years, Robert has led the effort to organize the annual Restoration Expo, a free community event that provides valuable information and resources to homeowners interested in preserving their vintage properties. For the past four years, he has been the mover and shaker behind the silent auction for the annual Gala & Benefit.  Robert lives with his wife Leslie, a Doctors House docent, in a 1933 English Revival located in the Ard Eevin-Highlands Historic District.
