Enter the magical world of Native Tile & Ceramics as you tour the quaint studio for a unique virtual learning experience led by master ceramic artisan Diana Mausser. Immerse yourselves in the artistry of tile-making inspired by the legacy of the early 20th century historic California masters. Diana Mausser will give a brief introduction of how she began her journey as a ceramic tile craftsperson and business owner. She will then demonstrate a few of the tile-making processes, interspersed with videos to present a complete picture of all of the processes involved in creating Native Tile’s beautiful hand-made treasures.

About Native Tile & Ceramics

From the historic Santa Barbara Biltmore Hotel to Shanghai Disney, Native Tile & Ceramics has been creating award-winning handcrafted tiles to enhance private residences and public spaces for over 30 years. Founder and master artisan Diana Mausser has designed over 1200 unique and historically inspired tile patterns ranging from earthy Craftsman to vibrant Mediterranean styles. Diana and her incredible team of craftspeople design, hand press, hand glaze and fire their tile from start to finish at their studio in Torrance, California. Their clay and glazes are all created by and for Native Tile exclusively. The techniques used to create their tiles are inspired by history but infused with experience and an intimate understanding of the ceramics process, making their product unique.
