An Aaron Wolf Film
Date and Time

The extraordinary film Restoring Tomorrow tells the tale of the recent restoration of Wilshire Boulevard Temple (1929). With its towering ten-story-high dome, it ranks with the Chinese Theater and Griffith Observatory a great Los Angeles landmarks. But by the 21st century it was in need of tens of millions of dollars of reconstruction. This against-all-odds story is told through the personal journey of director Aaron Wolf, who grew up in Glendale. In chronicling the Temple’s restoration, he finds himself restored as he reconnects to his synagogue and his community.
This event is co-sponsored by the City of Glendale Library, Arts & Culture Department and is free to the public. No RSVP required.
Visitors to Downtown Central Library receive 3 hours FREE parking across Harvard Street at the Marketplace parking structure with validation at the service desk.
